Referendum:
Let the voters decide!
On April 21, 2025 the Petaluma City Council voted to approve changes to the zoning laws governing development in Petaluma. These changes are designed specifically to accommodate the construction of a 6 story, monolithic luxury hotel in Petaluma’s historic downtown district.
This development would be totally out of scale and out of character with the historic downtown that Petalumans love and cherish.
We have vowed to protect Petaluma’s historic character, and therefore are now gathering signatures to put a Referendum on the ballot, to rescind the City Council’s decision.
Please help us in this effort, by signing the petition, volunteering to gather signatures, or by donating to cover legal fees and other referendum expenses.
